History of Mr Shift It
Mr Shift It & Co Ltd was first established in Cambridge in 1992 making it one of the older specialist furniture moving companies in the Waikato.
A family owned business, Peter Bunker and Rosalie Lunson purchased the company in February 2006 and set about expanding with upgrades of trucks enabling the company to cover all of the North Island but with a focus on continuing to service Cambridge and the greater Waikato region.
About us
Our trucks are all fitted with tail lifts, ramps and low-slung trailers for ease of loading and safer handling of the furniture. We make good use of trolleys which means faster and more efficient loading, we have a special piano trolley and many, many blankets to ensure the furniture is well protected. Combined, our staff have over 35 years of experience in the furniture handling and moving business.
Over 50 towns and cities
We have delivered from Kaitaia to Wellington and everywhere in between, to far flung places you may never have heard of such as Waioneke.

Mr Shift It has been in business for 28 years which certainly qualifies us as a Specialist Furniture Moving Company
Since taking ownership of Mr Shift It & Co Ltd in 2006, we have undertaken around 6500 moves which means we are well experienced, have the know-how for all sorts of situations and run a team with the “CAN DO” attitude.
